Measuring, compatibility, shipping and returns questions about cabinet hardware, countertops and woodworking supplies at CabinetBuilderHub.
Measure the distance between the centres of the two mounting holes. That number is the centre-to-centre spacing, and it is listed on every pull in our catalog. A pull drilled at 96 mm will not cover a 128 mm hole pattern, so match the spacing first and the style second. If your doors have a single hole, you are looking for a knob rather than a pull.
Place a tape measure from the centre of one screw hole to the centre of the other. Do not measure from the outside edges of the pull, and do not measure the overall length — those are different numbers. Our listings show both the centre-to-centre spacing and the overall length so you can confirm the pull will cover any existing marks.
Check the hinge type, the overlay, and the cup bore diameter. Concealed European hinges use a 35 mm cup bore in almost every case; face-frame and inset doors take different hinge bodies. Each hinge listing states the overlay range and the door thickness it accepts, so compare those three numbers against the door you are hanging.
Horizontal grade is the thicker sheet, meant for countertops and work surfaces that take wear. Vertical grade is thinner and is used on cabinet sides, doors and other vertical faces where the surface is not worked. The two are not interchangeable on a countertop: vertical grade will telegraph the substrate and will not hold up to a postformed edge.
Measure the drawer box depth, not the cabinet opening, and pick the nearest slide length that does not exceed it. For load rating, add the weight of the drawer box to what you expect to store in it, then leave headroom — a 100 lb slide used at 100 lb will wear out early. Side-mount and undermount slides also need different clearances, which are listed on each product page.
Yes. Full sheets ship rolled or crated depending on the grade and the carrier, and cut lengths ship flat. Sheet size, thickness and finish are listed per SKU, since a postforming grade sheet and a standard grade sheet of the same colour are not the same product. Freight on oversize sheets is quoted at checkout before you pay.
Orders leave our US warehouse in 1–2 business days. Standard shipping is a flat rate, and orders over $39 ship free within the contiguous United States. Oversize items such as full laminate sheets and machinery are quoted separately because they move by freight rather than parcel.
Photograph the carton and the item before you unpack any further, then email the photos to us with your order number. We replace damaged items at no cost and handle the carrier claim ourselves. Reporting within a few days of delivery keeps the claim valid, so open oversize freight shipments before the driver leaves if you can.
Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Cut laminate, edgebanding off the roll, and hardware that has been installed or drilled cannot be resold, so those are not returnable. If you ordered the wrong spacing or the wrong slide length, contact us before installing and we will sort out an exchange.
Yes. Order quantities are listed per SKU — many fasteners, cover caps and edgebanding rolls are priced by the box or the bulk pail, which is what a production shop actually consumes. If you need a quantity that is not listed, email us the part number and the amount you need and we will quote it.
Full delivery and return conditions are on our Returns & Shipping page.
If your question is not answered here, send us the part number and the cabinet opening or hole spacing you are working with, and we will confirm compatibility before you order.
